A pottery studio and teaching space built around a simple idea — that making something slowly, with your hands, changes the shape of a day.
The Studio
Primavera began in a former print works on the canal, with two secondhand wheels and a borrowed kiln. Today it is a light-filled teaching studio where beginners and returning makers work side by side at the same long bench.
We keep classes small on purpose. There is a rhythm to throwing that can't be rushed — centring, opening, pulling, trimming — and it asks for room. Our clay is reclaimed and re-wedged in-house; our glazes are mixed from raw minerals in the studio's own glaze lab.
No experience is needed to begin. Only a willingness to get your hands dirty and to let the first few pots be honest ones.
Workshops
All sessions include clay, tools, firing and a glaze. Finished pieces are ready for collection in about three weeks.
